The band for Cyndi Lauper was good and her voice had power, but it was really mushy sounding and not that great. Couldn't hear a word she said when she was speaking from 30 rows back, and her voice was basically gone inside the musical mix. Plus, whomever was manning the video mixer must have been having a seizure; screens were changing images every quarter of a second, which means if you were relying on them to see what was going on, you were out of luck. It was like trying to watch a single wisp of fire inside a furnace. Something of a disappointment.

The screens helped make the show, the band was awesome, the girls that played Celtic instruments were awesome, the set was awesome, the set list was perfect, and I'm so glad we went to see him. No complaints - except for the whole "can't hear a word he said while speaking" issue. It's like someone decided the mix should only be for singing, and when speaking, the microphones were just mush. His video mixer person was perfect.
